Where Has It All Gone ?

Is this how life should be ?
Full of hatred and wrath ?
The wanting of revenge burning inside .

The peace , the love , the joy ,
Where has it all gone ?
Hidden somewhere so we cant see ?

If it's true it's hiding ,
I want to search for it ,
Cause I don't think I can live without it .

Forgiveness , the word that we often use ,
But does it exist in the world today ?
Cause I feel that it's fading slowly day by day .

Now , almost everyday of our life ,
We have to fake a smile so people can't see ,
The pain we feel inside .

Laugthers heard , smiles are seen ,
But it is all just an act ,
To fool us from the truth .

So where is the peace , the love and the joy ?
Cause all I'm feeling is pain ...
